People dream of going places,
And claim of being driven by wanderlust.
But unbeknownst to them,
I have travelled more than most.
I have seen places
That no one has ever set their eyes on;
I have known people
Whom no one has ever bothered to know.
I have felt the wind
Whisper the names of obscure places;
I have flown myself to each one of them,
And I have seen a gazillion expressions on a billion faces.
I have fallen in love
With women in far-away lands;
I have shared a laugh here, and shed a tear there
With men whom I choose to call my friends.
I glide over the places,
With the sky housing me.
I have the earth stretched out below,
To break my fall, if the need ever be.
I travel all my life,
Unfazed by anything.
As I die, colourless blood oozes from my body
And my friends smile at the sight of my spectacular ending.
I am a cloud,
And the winds push me around.
I am a wanderer,
And I travel all the while because a wanderer knows no bounds.
