So in our part two of the Cannes Lions article, we’ll tell you about the participants and winners of the festival from India. What all events took place and other consequential details about one of the most glorious creativity festival. Let’s get on to in!
As mentioned by the Impactonnet’s article “How we canned it” they’ve said that India was basking in full creativity glory at the 64th Annual Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity last week, putting up its all-time best performance with a haul of 40 metals.
Moving on, to the participation by our country, India.
McCANN WORLDGROUP INDIA
The performance by them was phenomenal and they bagged the most metals at the festival. It’s performance was truly amazing, even better than the previous year.
OGILVY & MATHER INDIA
It bagged 9 Lions and no doubt, performed wonderfully, not failing us. Making everyone in the industry proud. “I am very happy for the young people who work at Ogilvy India and have done us proud. My congratulations to all other agencies in India”

LEO BURNETT INDIA
Their awe inspring performace stunned everyone at the festival with their amaing tech. They even picked up a gold Lion for Bajaj’s Vikrant.
They entered two campaigns Ariel ‘Share The Load’ and Mirinda ‘Release The Pressure’ were recognized by the jury widely. Ariel even recieved gold and silver Lion and Miranda a silver Lion.
LAW & KENNETH SAATCHI & SAATCHI
They too performed as wonderfully as the rest and didn’t fail our country, because they bagged a gold Lion. They gave their sweat and blood to this mission.
“Well, assuming this is not some kind of mistake in the vein of La La Land for Best Picture, we’re quite thrilled. But really, it’s an award for Gener8ion for making a track brimming with feeling, and Nike for trusting us with it. We couldn’t be more pleased” – These were the words of their creative director Mohamed Rizwan.
